About Asia & Overseas Travel Partner Co., Ltd

Asia & Overseas Travel Partner Co., Ltd offers a combination of travel services within two business areas; Inbound to Thailand as well as Domestic sales in Thailand.

 

The company was founded in May 2007 and we operate from our office in the T. Shinawatra Building on 

94 Sukhumvit Soi 23, Bangkok. The Tourism Authority of Thailand has given us the License Number 14/00503.

 

Owners of the company
The company is registered as a Thai company limited, with a combination of 18 Thai and Swedish shareholders. All with long and successful background as Managing Directors or owners of companies working in travel and tourism, market research, property development, merchandise, robotics, automobile and the airline industry.

 

Chairman and Managing Director
Chairman of the board is Mr. Kent Wallstedt who has been working in several positions within the travel and tourism industry since 1985. From 1995 Mr. Wallstedt was working in Thailand for seven years in Star Tours and in Tema Resor, both of them tour operators. 2002 he moved back to Sweden and was employed by Tourism Authority of Thailand as Marketing Manager at their Nordic office in Stockholm, Sweden, with responsibility for the Nordic and Baltic markets. Since 2004 the owner and Managing Director for Jambo Tours, a tour operator and a travel agency with offices both in Stockholm, Sweden, and Oslo, Norway.

 

Managing Director is Mr. Martin Rosborg. Before moving to Thailand in 2008 he has been working in leading positions since 1988 within the travel and tourism industry. 1988-93 as Managing Director in companies marketing destinations in Sweden primary on the European market: 1993-1994 Director of Sales for Next Stop Sweden, the official tourism organisation promoting Sweden worldwide; 1994-1996 Managing Director in PLR, a Swedish consulting company in business development; 1996-2004 CEO for Visit Denmark in Sweden and Finland, the official tourism organisation promoting Denmark worldwide; 2004-2008 CEO for Stockholm Visitors Board, Sweden, the official tourism organisation promoting Stockholm worldwide.

In Thailand we work with domestic sales as a tour operator and a travel agency and offer products and services from Thailand to both private and corporate customers.
