Chiang Mai hotels

Chiang Mai is located 700 km north of Bangkok in a verdant valley on the banks of the Ping River. The city, often referred to as the "Rose of the North" for the abundance of flowers, was founded in 1296 as the capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom.
